First, let me apologize for getting behind. No excuses. I'm just sorry it happened. On to the devotional!
We take our free agency for granted, but it was seriously challenged before our mortal lives began. This Christmas let's give thanks for the one who defended our freedom.
Scripture
Moses 4:1-3
1 And I, the Lord God, spake unto Moses, saying: That Satan, whom thou hast commanded in the name of mine Only Begotten, is the same which was from the beginning, and he came before me, saying—Behold, here am I, send me, I will be thy son, and I will redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely I will do it; wherefore give me thine honor.
2 But, behold, my Beloved Son, which was my Beloved and Chosen from the beginning, said unto me—Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever.
3 Wherefore, because that Satan rebelled against me, and sought to destroy the agency of man, which I, the Lord God, had given him, and also, that I should give unto him mine own power; by the power of mine Only Begotten, I caused that he should be cast down;
Joshua 24:15
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Better late than never and so much appreciated :o)
Great reminder, and one we all need to keep in mind. We've been fought for, now we only need to use that power for good.
That was beautiful and a wonderful reminder for the season.
Melissa, I was just wondering if I could be added to the Good Mail group on your site. I'm on at Annie's but as I always say..."the more good the better"...or something like that. Just let me know and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Is that frog really black with multicoloured circles upon the back...?
